Graduate in geography and applied geoinformatics, specialising in applied geoinformatics in environment and hazard management.
Originally from the town and municipality of Velventos, located at the foot of the Pierian mountains in Greece, he currently lives and works as a research and development (R&D) manager in Thessaloniki, Greece. Ermioni has worked as a business consultant-trainer giving professional advice on finance, public relations and management. She mainly helped unemployed people to find jobs and also supported migrants to join work and food programmes, contributing to improving their living conditions.
As a frequent participant and trainer in Europe-related events such as Erasmus+, UNESCO projects and other programmes, especially on human rights, she has volunteered with the Association for Abused Women, providing women with protection and assistance in finding work, a place to live and healing their souls. Incurably optimistic, Ermioni believes that learning means not only tolerating but also respecting difference, regardless of gender, age, colour, ethnicity or purpose of life.
