About the Project

The C-SUSTAIN project is a forward-thinking Erasmus+ initiative focused on providing entrepreneurship training in Circular Economy for young individuals with multicultural backgrounds. By aligning with key frameworks like EntreComp, GreenComp, and Life-Long Learning, the project introduces innovative and sustainable practices into the youth education sector. Its primary aim is to empower participants with transferable skills that integrate entrepreneurial abilities, environmental awareness, and citizenship competencies. Through cross-sectorial collaboration and inclusive learning models, C-SUSTAIN seeks to foster a new generation of environmentally-conscious entrepreneurs.

The European Institute Foundation is proud to be a partner in the C-SUSTAIN project, working alongside a consortium of organizations to achieve these ambitious goals. As a partner, we are deeply committed to supporting the project's vision of equipping young individuals with the tools and knowledge needed to thrive in a circular economy. Our role includes contributing expertise, facilitating inclusive education practices, and promoting collaboration across sectors to maximize the project’s impact.

Key assumptions

The project is structured around creating engaging and impactful learning experiences. C-SUSTAIN actively involves young individuals with multicultural backgrounds, introducing them to the principles of entrepreneurial competence within the context of a circular economy. The initiative develops non-formal, work-based activities and tailored tools for the youth education sector, providing participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed. Additionally, it establishes inclusive spaces for learning, sharing, experimentation, and networking, ensuring that participants can apply their skills in collaborative and supportive environments.

Key activities include the creation of a blended program that combines non-formal, in-person, and virtual educational elements. This program features a self-assessment tool designed to track progress and skill acquisition. The project also implements a pilot program for young individuals with multicultural backgrounds, offering virtual and in-person activities such as mentorship sessions, makeathons, and practical applications of the developed modules and tools. These efforts will culminate in the creation of a comprehensive toolkit to support ongoing learning and entrepreneurship development.

Project results

The project’s results will be disseminated at local, regional, national, and EU levels to ensure widespread access to the resources and tools developed. By promoting sustainable practices and entrepreneurship within the youth sector, C-SUSTAIN aims to inspire long-lasting change and equip young people with the competencies needed to address contemporary environmental and societal challenges.

The European Institute Foundation is honored to contribute to this initiative, helping to foster innovative and inclusive educational practices that empower youth to take an active role in building a sustainable future. Together with our partners, we are shaping a brighter tomorrow by bridging the gap between education, sustainability, and entrepreneurship.
