The “HR3.0: Empowering Youth to Shape Tomorrow’s Rights” project focuses on
strengthening the role of young people in the field of third-generation human rights, such as
environmental rights, digital rights, and the right to peace and development.
About the project HR 3.0
It responds to the growing need for access to modern, engaging education and for greater youth participation in decision-making processes at local and European levels. The project aims to establish aninternational consortium of youth organisations that will jointly develop innovative non-formal education tools and advocacy mechanisms.
A key element will be the creation of Human Rights Observatories and a Youth Ambassadors Council, enabling young people to actively participate in shaping public policies.HR3.0 will deliver a range of sustainable and measurable outcomes in the areas of education, civic engagement, and youth advocacy. A core result will be the development of six innovative learning pathways on third-generation human rights, compiled into a comprehensive educational toolkit based on non-formal education methodologies.These materials will be tested and further developed during international youth exchanges and local workshops, ensuring their high quality and relevance to young learners’ needs. In addition, the project will achieve broad outreach through social media campaigns, video production, and dissemination activities, raising awareness among young people about contemporary human rights challenges.
Project results
- Development of youth-friendly, non-formal educational paths on third-generation

field of human rights - Training of young people in peer education, strengthening their leadership and
educational competences - Implementation of peer-to-peer workshops and learning activities led by young people

through awareness-raising campaigns and educational activities - Establishment of advocacy structures at local and European levels, enabling young
people to actively participate in shaping human rights policies - Active involvement of young people in decision-making processes and dialogue with
