The Civic Math project aims to foster active citizenship and enhance critical thinking by integrating
mathematical reasoning with civic education. Through innovative training modules, workshops, and
accessible resources, the project equips youth workers to engage young people in applying math to
societal challenges, promoting civic participation, media literacy, and improved youth work quality
across Europe. The European Institute Foundation is a partner in the project.

Implementation: What activities will be carried out?
We will conduct co-creation workshops to design a curriculum integrating civic education and
mathematics, develop online training modules for youth workers, and pilot these modules for
feedback. Local workshops will engage youth in interactive activities, while a dissemination campaign and national events will share results. An impact analysis and sustainability strategy will ensure long-
term use and integration of the project outcomes.
