“The European Identity” youth exchange was mostly focused on the topics related to European Union. Through the metods of non formal education such as energizers, group work and entertaining exercises we could learn a lot about Erasmus+ programme, European institutions, fake news, voting systems, active citizenships and much more! In the end we could also use all the practical skills we’ve gained to disseminate our knowleadge and create our own awareness campaignes connected to European identity. Besides learning things related to the topic Youth Exchange also gave us the opportinity to get to know other cultures during traditions show or intercultural night. We spent that time on showing our countries’ traditions, dancing national dances and preparing traditional food. We also had a chance to get to know Portugal by attending a city game in Braganca or going for a trip to a nearby Geopark. The European Institute Pro Futuro Europae was a partner in this event.
