The main goal of the “Democracy without borders” project was to develop a positive attitude and ability of young people to participate in the democratic system as active citizens. To build social awareness of young people so that in the future they can engage in the creation of civil society, and decide on the future of their own country and Europe. The specific issues raised by the project were: increasing the participation of young people and their role in democratic societies and in shaping policies, presenting institutions and mechanisms of democracy, and promoting a united European Union.

 

This project, funded by the EU Erasmus + program, brought together 42 participants from 5 European Union countries and Turkey. More information is on our Facebook profile.
